Villa Mandala with Jim Tarran. 2011 dates tbc - contact us for further information
The villa is ideally situated apart from the hustle and bustle; yet only 2 minutes walk from Banana Village, Aouira. A character filled traditional Moroccan village just 5 kms south of the surf haven of Taghazout.
Villa Mandala is a simply breathtaking authentic Moroccan villa. It is spacious, homely, private, exclusive, peaceful and unique. It's right on the beach, literally in the sand, with a beachfront swimming pool and roof top yoga pagoda looking out over the infinite Atlantic Ocean.
Each bedroom is decorated in its own ornate style, sprinkled with trinkets and designed to a theme. The villa has a small private hammam (Moroccan sauna) so you can unwind and rejuvenate at the end of your day.Where are we in Morocco?
Where are we in Morocco?
Taghazout is a small Berber fishing village on the Moroccan coast, 14km north of Agadir. Flanked by the sea and the countryside. It rose to fame in the 60s as a hippy haven, and has recently come into its own as a surfing spot of the highest quality.
The beach is on our doorstep and offers an incredible choice of places to relax or play! The proud origins and unshakable village atmosphere maintains the village as a favourite holiday destination in Morocco.
The coastal paths are wonderfully spectacular to explore, and there are a great range of tracks and paths leading into the Moroccan countryside from Taghazout. There is plenty of walking, cycling and horse riding to be done around the village, and for a truly romantic ride, try heading into the aptly named Paradise Valley or towards the beautiful Immouzer Waterfalls.
The region is blessed with over 340 days of sunshine each and every year. Summers are wonderfully long, hot and dry, with daily temperatures rarely below 25°C from May until the end of September, and even during the winter, you are highly unlikely to experience daily temperatures under 15°C.
