UNDOING: Moving in new ways to remove old stories. Weekend yoga retreat with Brydie Rowan

GF - 05 - Group room with bespoke meditation cushions by locals 'Fine Quality Feather'jpg.jpg

Join us for a gorgeously soul satisfying Autumn equinox weekend yoga retreat. With Brydie at the helm in this elegant 19th Century country house retreat with 42 acres of private grounds and a further 700 acres of ancient woodland surrounding our space, it is impossible not to feel the arms of nature holding us and sharing her harvest.

“I am so nourished by Brydie’s teaching. Her energy is so fresh and nurturing and her singing is sublime. This is the beginning of deep healing for me.” Joy V

To find grace and balance in practice and in life, there is always an underlying symbiosis of doing and undoing. In modern day life we are hard wired to do, and so the undoing has become overshadowed and undervalued and the busyness has become the boss.

The changing seasons are key points in the cycle of life in nature and offer a wonderful opportunity for us to realign our intentions and appraise our stories. Autumn is the time of year that we set up our internal space and make room for what’s to come in the next year.

In this retreat we will be moving in new ways, out of the automatic and into the somatic to remove old stories and ways of thinking so that we might experience ourselves renewed and freed. In letting go of habits and stories that no longer serve us, the same way a tree releases dead leaves, we create fertile ground for greater visions to grow. The beauty of this natural process is that we do not have to ‘do’ anything at all. The change comes occurs naturally as the result of un-doing.

Everything about this retreat is designed to nurture, nourish and support you while you witness the benefits of re-learning and un-doing. From the deliciousness of the food to the quality of the bed linen, the philosophy of care and respect for you, and the world that supports you, is at the heart of this fabulous yoga retreat.

Mouthwatering organic and biodynamic cuisine; self-generated sustainable energy; beautiful reclaimed materials and antique furnishings; and Victoria Ogilvy handmade, essential oil infused toiletries are just some of the treats in store for you.

Our yoga sessions will take place in the gorgeous, heated and furnished 30 ft yurt. Brydie creates a joyful, creative space and teaches in a deep, slow yet flowing style with a focus on intelligent sequencing, functional alignment and modification for the individual. She also has the most beautiful singing voice and seamlessly introduces sublime song that manages to reach deep within and talk to your soul.

2 days and nights of deeply healing yoga, gourmet biodynamic food, letting go and gratitude fire ceremony and luxurious accommodation on this glorious weekend yoga retreat a true gift to your deep self. Suitable for beginners through to experienced yogis alike.
